Hire terms
Hire terms — plain English.

Note: These terms are placeholder pending client legal review. The substantive terms below reflect our working practice but should not be relied on as the legal contract until the formal version lands.
Quotes
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the quote date. The number on the quote is the number on the invoice — no surprise variations unless you ask for a scope change in writing.
Hire window
The quoted hire window starts the day we install. If you need extra time, tell us as early as you can — pro-rata charges apply at the rate shown on your quote. Dismantle within two working days of your call; day three is on us.
Site access
You're responsible for site access on the day, including notifying us of services we need to work around (gas, water, services, trees). We'll flag if council permit is required and pass through the cost.
Damage and loss
You're responsible for the equipment while it's onsite — please don't let other trades alter the scaffold. Damage caused by misuse (cutting, drilling, exceeding load class) is chargeable at the replacement value.
Insurance
We carry public liability insurance to the value shown in the footer. Insurance certificate sent on request.
Payment
50% deposit on installation, balance within 7 days of dismantle. Bank transfer details on the invoice.
Disputes
If something's wrong, call us first. We'll usually fix it on the spot. If we can't agree, the dispute goes to mediation under Victorian consumer law.
