What runs and what doesn't.

Essential — always on

Session cookie (so the form works), CSRF token (so the form is safe), and your consent record itself (so we remember what you ticked). These can't be disabled because they're required for the site to function.

Analytics — opt-in

Google Analytics 4 (page views, calculator submissions) and Microsoft Clarity (anonymous heatmaps) — only run if you tick "Analytics" on the cookie banner. We use these to see what's working on the site and fix what isn't.

Marketing — opt-in

Google Ads remarketing + Meta pixel — only run if you tick "Marketing". Used for the small handful of paid ads we run.
